Helpline for people over 70 and other high risk people

Starting tomorrow (April 14th) there is a new helpline for people over 70 and other high risk people who are not in the “shielded vulnerable” group. It is to help access necessary services for anyone having problems. 0800 111 4000. It was announced at the First Minister’s press conference today.

Ms Sturgeon says that, from tomorrow, vulnerable Scots who do not have other means of getting support, can call 0800 111 4000 to get help.

She explained that the helpline was designed to give vulnerable people access to resources, including food and medicine, social workers for children, and emotional support.
