Additional Funds – Mental Health Suuport & Alcohol Issues
There will be £105,000 going to Young Scot for the provision of new digital content on mental well-being for children and young people – that will be available on social media outlets.
On support for families, who may be feeling the strain during lockdown, there is a pledge of £700,000 for The Spark counselling service.
Health Secretary Jeane Freeman moves on to plans for support for people with drug and alcohol issues, saying the availability of Naloxone (which is used to block the effects of opioids) has been increased.
